Whats the best way of getting rid of spots - with out buying a useless face product?

please tell me what works best. :)Whats the best way of getting rid of spots - with out buying a useless face product?
A lot of the times why those face products are useless is because acne spots are just hard to treat and you need something stronger. I hate to say it, but usually no over the counter product will ever cure it unless your acne is very mild to begin with, to the point where it doesn't bother you that much in the first place. For those of us with real acne, the only solution is a dermatologist. If you don't want to wait for one, I can suggest trying benzyl peroxide, it will bleach clothing and make your skin dry, try acnomel (its sulfur based) and worked well for me, or try tea tree oil, and if none of those work for you or if your acne is moderate to severe try a combo of bluelight %26amp; levulan, it works apparently as well as accutane. To really find out how well products work, go to www.acne.org, they have a wonderful forum where people discuss treatments, and on their site they have a review of all treatments from laser to over the counter. Remember that what works for one person doens't work for everyone.Whats the best way of getting rid of spots - with out buying a useless face product?
Just dabbing some mild face soap on and leaving it on overnight can dry out spots apparently.

There are some face products that arnet completely useless- clean and clear is good, nivea visage, clinique, t-zone, and neutrogena are all pretty good.

you just have to work out what kind of skin type you have- dry, oily etc, and what could be causing the spots- eating a lot of greasy or oily foods, going to bed late, drinking too much caffeine, touching your face a lot etc.

Alternatively, a face steamer can work, because they unblock pores which cause spots to develop.

Using a face wash, toner, and then a light moisturizer can be a good routine for your skin to prevent spots too.

Hope this helped!

=)
