hi im a skin and body therapist and i highly suggest u do not use things like clean and clear or clinique they have such harsh ingredients in them - i studied cosmetic science, use something which has no colourings or fragrances if possible.
the most important thing is to wash 2x daily, exfoliate but Not with a scrub as this will spread your spots even more and moisturise.
dermalogica have a product called medicated clearing gel which is the bee's knees for spots and is also excellent for ingrowing hairs

I have some brown spots on my face. I don't really know the cause of them. I lived in Colorado for 17 years, where the sun is always strong and I hardly ever wore sun block so it could be sun damage. Don't worry, a few spots aren't going to change your appearance to the point that they won't recognize your picture. They hardly even look at the picture, it's usually just a glance. Don't use heavy make-up, this will only mask the problem, causing yet more clogging of the pores and increasing your acne.
Use a light concealment, then cover it with a small finger tip amount of foundation, just dabbing over the affected area, and smoothing it out with a small piece of cotton wool or cosmetic pad. Then use your normal foundation to cover the rest of the face area, again using only a limited amount, you don't want to 'paint your face' too heavily or this will certainly look unattractive and not give the desired effect.
Try different concealments at your local store/pharmacist to get that correct tone to your skin, before you buy, and rinse off well any facial cosmetics at night.
Acne may only be a short term problem, so take steps now to try to cure rather than aggravate in later life.

erm if you cba to buy something expensive and if its just a few large ones, toothpaste works a treat!, it dries them out and so they can jsut be gotten rid of, i think you can probalby get somekind of medication from your gp if you really have a problem with them, helped my mate out loads. hope this helps :] and i know spots are annoying but we all get them so you dont need to be that upset by them.
Well i have always sufferd with spots until i tried using detol soap, it is amazing! it leaves your skin very dry so i find the best moiusturiser is johnsons n johnsons 24 hour one. try it it really does work!
Also my opinion on a good foundation is Elizabeth arden. it has the best covarage and dosent break you out afterwards.

Medicated concealer miss sporty range.
when I get spots (generally time of the month of stress points) I do the following to get rid of them.
I wash my face twice, (once to exfoliate, once to wash) then dab dry.
Then apply origins on the spot. Its 拢10 for a small pot but it really does last and last and last.
After the day I exfoliate again the evening and rinse thougherly.
If the spots arent nearly out or are sore I put on some mopre of the on the spot treatrment.
The next day I wash as normally, then apply a little treatment, and NO foundation. Conceler can be ok, just not too much, and only if you havent picked at it.
If its still there and not reducing the third day, I steam my face for 20 mins, then exfoliate, then wash.
If its still there the 4th day and has made no attempt at going away, go see a doctor,- this has never happened to me! If it is starting to go, repeat the steps again.
bare minerals is good to cover them up, but try retin-a to get rid of them, it helped me a lot

the small spots are definately black heads. depending on how sensitive your skin is, buy a facial mask or facial wash that you can use daily to help keep them away. blackheads are just dirt squeezed into your pores. just make sure to wash your face twice a day and keep oil-free makeup. also make sure that the bed sheets and pillowcases you lay on are clean. when you use the face wash, dont use two different kinds because they could end up irritation your skin. just use a washcloth or a face sponge that wont be too rough or too soft on your skin so it can really deep clean. im not sure what to tell you about the redness though since i dont get that. try asking a dermatologist. =)

Hi i get spots here and there they can be a pain and embarassing but use some teatree oil to dry it up but there is no quick way to get rid of a spot sorry, you probably notice it because it's on you no one really cares sweetie .
No there isn't a quick solution, however its only one so just cover it up with a witch hazel stick or similar, apparently toothpaste works at drying out spots quite quickly, but you are lucky you ain't a severe acne sufferer bear it in mind.
there is an oil, in german ist is called ';Teebaum枚l'; but I couln麓t find a translation for it...i would translate it into : teatreeoil that麓s literal translatet but it might help you...or you can put the ';juice'; of a garlic on your spot. it smells a little bit but it works

yes,as i used this myself when i had spots-use any dettol soup you can get it from pharmacy shop or go to boot and you will find many type of soups that kills germs,what i mean is that spots can build up easily and spread all over the face because there is germs which need to be get red of,and the only way to get rid of spots is to wash your face every morning when you wake up with soup anti germs soups,not perfume soup,and u can use this 3times a day,or twice in the morning and before going to bed,and when you see the result iam sure you will be very happy that i gave you this advice

In the meantime make sure your skin is cleaned thoroughly with a good cleanser morning and night and don't put make up on if you can help it, especially foundation, as that suffocates the skin and blocks the pores up. A small bit of eye make up and lippy should be ok, but that's all. Also, eat plenty of fresh fruit and/or vegetables every day and make sure the rest of your diet is balanced. Fresh air and exercise is also very good for your skin, even if you can only manage it for about 15 to 20 minutes a day.

I stated getting spots when i was 7 and they went when i was 14. no matter how much ointment i put on the only thing that helped me was to apply antibacterial facewash and to drink lots and lots and lots of water...dont have greasy food, dont have fizzy drinks, stay away from the sugar...i know its hard but its a solution
