Burning is normal for the toothpaste method the first few times you do it but your face will start to adapt the more you do it.

Aspirin has some of the same ingredients as a lot of acne medications so you can use it as a mask by dissolving 7 to 10 aspirin in pure 100% aloe vera gel (if you don't have any water works good too) and just spread it all over your face and wait like 15 minutes then wash it off. Then you can can a couple more aspirin, dissolve them again, put it just on your spots and use it as a spot treatment over night.

Lemon juice works as a natural bleach for skin and hair so if you put some juice from a lemon on your spots it will help lighten the spots.Just don't go into the sun with lemon juice on your skin because you will fry your face.

natural tea tree essential oil works really good for acne medication.

One of my favorites is pure vitamin e oil. Get a vitamin e pill and prick it with a pin or needle and squeeze some of the oil out and put it on your spots. I know it sounds a little strange to use oil to cure acne but trust me i works so well. For scars too.

One last thing that you are gunna want to do is put red eye relief drops on your spots. It can take the red out of your eyes and it works just the same for your skin. Just squeeze out some drops directly onto the red areas and rub it in a little and then let it dry, go in front of a fan or something.

Really hope this helps, good luck and have fun at prom! How To Get Rid Of Bad Spots Overnight?
Ice is said to calm the redness. Also applying and massaging in a spot cream will help the spots to fade.

Try to take care of your skin by exfoliating once a week and cleansing, toning and moisturising. Try not to wear any make-up until the prom.

Also avoid touching the spots with your bare hands. The oils and bacteria from your fingers can transfer to your face and worsen the spots, also resulting in more.
straight rubbing alcohol. Feel the burn...
