What are ';spots';? The kind that is on your face?

I have heard this term for quite awhile and I feel kind of dumb for not knowing what it means. I know that it has something to do with your face, because the question clearly stated it. Are they pimples? What colors are they?

Well, spots on your face can refer to pimples or acne spots. However, it can also refer to freckles too, caused by melanins.





Pimples or acne will give rise to reddish spots or darker brown if scarred from infection on eruption.





Melanin is skin natural defense against sun causing the darkening of the skin. In some people exposure to sun cause the skin to produce melanin actively becoming freckles.





So which type of spots are you interested in?What are ';spots';? The kind that is on your face?
Simply where your pours get blocked....use a good cleanser.

spots are acne spots that you get on your face and they can be yellow/white in colour
they are just pimples
On some people spots are the darkened skin left by a pimple or some other skin eruption. The spot usually happens after squeezing the pimple.





On some - the spot is the pimple, itself.
