I have bought the Neutrogena visibly clearer gentle exfoliating wash today and have used it once and is it meant to cause more pimples?

In some people the spots are underneath the skin. Using treatments for them will bring them up to the surface to get rid of them, therefore they get worse before getting better in some people. After a while they should settle and your spots should go. Hope this helps.
