I have mild acne and need tips on what makeup does the trick?What makeup covers spots and stays on long?
Don't use heavy make-up, this will only mask the problem, causing yet more clogging of the pores and increasing your acne.





Use a light concealment, then cover it with a small finger tip amount of foundation, just dabbing over the affected area, and smoothing it out with a small piece of cotton wool or cosmetic pad. Then use your normal foundation to cover the rest of the face area, again using only a limited amount, you don't want to 'paint your face' too heavily or this will certainly look unattractive and not give the desired effect.





Try different concealments at your local store/pharmacist to get that correct tone to your skin, before you buy, and rinse off well any facial cosmetics at night.





Acne may only be a short term problem, so take steps now to try to cure rather than aggravate in later life.

I'd go to sephora at the mall and they can help you pick something out . It's good to keep acne clean and give it air to breath. So as much as possible I would stay away from make up. But during the time you want to cover it up then go for it! I use Make up forever professional concealer in number 10 . and i have light olive skin or like a light to med tone. But ask someone to help you with the colors if you want. Or check out sephora.com website to find just about everything. I also have mild acne every once in a while and when the acne finally goes away it leaves a brown spot/mark. But before applying the concealer I use a good foundation like laura mercier cream foundation. Theres so many different foundations to choose from . If you go to sephora you can play around with the make up till you find the right shade and type you like .And theres always someone to help you out.
Concealer hides spots. Go to a drugstore or a place where they sell make-up and rub a concealer on ur hand. If u blend it in and it disappears then it is the same colour as ur skin and the best colour 2 get. Put a little foundation on after if u want. To make it stay on longer dust a little translucent powder over your face when ur done. THis also helps to stop makeup spreading onto clothes etc. Mac is a great brand of make up but a little expensive. Try maybelline if not mac. Also try using mineral foundations and other mineral make up. This allows ur skin 2 breathe when u hav it on so ur pores don't get as blocked and u get less spots.

I used to have really bad skin, but dream matte mousse concealer is really good for covering it up! If i ever said anything about having bad skin my friends would always say it didn't look like i did when i was wearing this. Hope this helps :)!
Concelear %26amp; foundation always works for me.


It mainly depends on what type of skin you have like greasy, dark, mild whatever.


So go into a shop like superdrug %26amp; stuff %26amp; try the teaster pots :)

Sheer cover is great for that kind of stuff its mineral make up which is the make up everyone is talking about and you can leave it on over night. its great seriously.

try the giant concealer stick from mac.. i'm not sure what it's called though.. i'll just tell you when i find out.. however.. this concealer has great coverage and a lightweight feel-- it actually feels like powder!
try a mineral makeup and concealer-sheer cover works for me!
